Meeting FDA expectations
We still have a few more hoops to jump through before we can even mention bringing the Fluo device to the market. We are now ready to undertake the final clinical trials required for us to petition the FDA for a De Novo grant. The goal of these clinical trials is to make any definitive conclusions about the safety and efficacy of our technology.
P.S., we hear you asking, “What’s a De Novo grant?” A De Novo classification is what the FDA grants to novel medical devices for which there are no comparables. This requires additional studies to make any definitive conclusions about safety or efficacy. Yes, it’s a big deal.
